Originally built in 1909, Alterman completed the electrical renovation of the historic ten-story hotel in 1983. The renovation of the 352-room hotel included the addition of new electrical service, the integration of new wiring with the antique fixtures and chandeliers, and bring the fire alarm and emergency power systems up to code.
